What I Read In 2024

It’s that time of the year again – the time I look back and reflect on what I’ve read. So let’s get started.

My aim in 2024 was to read 250 books across the 336 days. In all I managed to read 351! I will just say now that reading is not a competition. Whether you read 1 book or 100 books, the important thing is that you’re reading and you are enjoying them. I am unwell currently which means I have a lot of free time to read, which is why my total is what it is. These 346 were made up of:

📚187 Advanced Reader Copies, 22 Gifted, and 142 I already owned
📚236 Adult Fiction, 61 Children or Young Adult Fiction, 53 Non-Fiction, and 1 Poetry Book
📚145 with page counts of 300 or less, 202 with page counts of 301-500, and 4 with page counts of over 501
📚70 were debuts – which is an increase of 7 since last year
📚23 book tours – which was an increase of 3 since last year
📚243 female authors, 95 male authors, 3 non-binary authors, and 10 books that were written or edited by more than one author

📚My most read authors of 2024 were Stephanie Garber with 6, and then Bea Fitzgerald, John Boyne, Lois Lowry, Matt Haig, Nigel Slater, and Jen Calonita with 3 each
📚My most read publishers were Penguin with 15, HarperCollins with 13, Hodder with 12, Bantam with 10, and Autumn Publishing with 10.
📚I also read 10 self-published titles, which is actually a decrease since last year

So, without further ado, I present to you, my reading list of 2024. As always, please send me your thoughts via the comment section below or on my socials.
