The Little Green Book Shop, Herne Bay, Kent

Opened in 2022, The Little Green Book Shop stock a wide range of fiction, non-fiction, and children’s books, along with local artwork, cards, and homeware. They also offer a book subscription – 3, 6 or 12 months – where the booksellers will handpick, wrap and deliver 1 book a month.

The Folkestone Bookshop, Folkestone, Kent

The Folkestone Bookshop is a radical, indie store and community hub by the sea, offering a reading room, crafts room, and events space. They sell everything from prize winners, new and classic books, fiction and non-fiction, LGBTQ+ titles, education books, and a children’s selection.

Sevenoaks Bookshop, Sevenoaks, Kent

Sevenoaks Bookshop is run by a team of experienced, enthusiastic, and welcoming booksellers. Stocking the finest books for all ages, they sell new and bestselling books, classics, indie publishers, children’s books, and special signed copies. Sarah Key: The Haunted Bookshop, Cambridge

Sarah Key Books has specialised in children’s and illustrated books since 1987, and has occupied the Haunted Bookshop since 1993. They also buy good quality children’s and illustrated titles, first editions, antiquarian, poetry, academic, cookery, and theology books as well as manuscripts.

The Eagle Bookshop, Bedford

Established in 1991, The Eagle Bookshop is one of the biggest rare and second-hand bookshop. Their collection include rare and antiquarian books, dedicated art, history, travel, and literature rooms, as well as a book-buying service.

Red Lion Books, Colchester

Proudly independent since 1978, when the Donaldsons first ‘set up shop’. Red Lion Books sits in the heart of Colchester. There is a wide-ranging stock, an overnight order service, author events, signings and book clubs. Service comes mostly with knowledge and always with a smile.

Hungerford Bookshop, Hungerford

Hungerford Bookshop is an award-winning indie bookshop, stocking a range of books recommended by the booksellers themselves.
