Book Corner, Saltburn-by-the-Sea

Established in 2014, Book Corner moved to a larger premises in 2017 and now stock a range of books for adults and children, with a specialism in contemporary fiction. They stock new releases, young adult fiction, kids picture books, non-fiction, and bargain books.

The Grove Bookshop, Ilkley

The Grove Bookshop is one of the best-known indie bookstores in the North of England. Trading since 1979, they stock books on a wide range of subjects and can order any book in, normally within 24 hours. They hold regular author events and are the official booksellers for Ilkley Literature Festival.

Imagined Things Bookshop, Harrogate

Imagined Things opened its doors as the first independent bookshop in Harrogate in nearly twenty years in 2017. They sell an eclectic mix of books across a range of genres for adults, young adults and children. They also sell a unique range of cards, stationery and gifts to satisfy bibliophiles and non-bibliophiles alike.

Hillsborough Bookshop, Sheffield

Hillsborough Bookshop is Sheffield’s independent children’s bookshop. Although primarily a children’s bookshop, they do stock a wide selection of adult books too! Specialising in colourful and diverse books, they are passionate about getting the whole family reading. They also hold author events, workshops, and readalongs.

Rhyme and Reason, Sheffield

Trading for over two decades, Rhyme and Reason are a small indie shop with a surprisingly extensive selection of both adult and children’s books. They stock everything from kids picture books to adult fiction, memoirs, books on the natural world, and Greek mythology.

Wave of Nostalgia, Haworth

Wave of Nostalgia is an award-winning bookshop; themed on strong women, it is located in the village of Haworth, home of the Bronte sisters. It is filled with beautiful & unique items for all ages.
